Deckchair questions

What material are the deckchairs printed on?

285gsm 100% coated polyester. The raw material is fire retardant, whilst the print is fade and water resistant.

Please note: the raw material is white and may include imperfections. If you have white in your design, it will be the raw white material you can see.

Can I replace just the fabric?

Absolutely! We want you to use your chairs over and over again so you can buy spares or replacements for both chairs. Order a replacment fabric seat here. 

Are our Deckchairs safety tested?

Our Giant Deckchair frames are tested to the following safety standards:

EN 581-1:2017
EN 581-2:2015

How are the deckchairs printed?

We print in CMYK using the dye-sublimination process. The ink dyes the fabric rather than printing your artwork on the surface, so you will have a seat that lasts longer.

The resolution sits at 2400dpi.

Are these suitable for outdoor use?

They sure are. The fabric is printed using fade and water resistant inks and the wooden frame is treated too so you can use your chairs no matter what the British weather throws at you.

Some curling can occur at the edges of the fabric if left outside in bad weather for long periods of time. Use a cool iron to flatten the material again if required.

Do your hire your chairs out?

No. Our chairs are bespoke to you and only available to buy.

Will I get a proof before my artwork goes to print?

No. We don’t send a proof back for approval, your artwork should be set to our template so we would be sending back the same PDF you sent us.

We do check that all artwork is print ready before processing your order. If we, or our digital file check, spot any issues we will get in touch to make you aware of the issue. We only check the layout and print quality of artwork. We do not check for correct spelling or grammar in your design, that responsibility lies with you.

Please note that orders are only processed once we have print ready artwork so any issues with artwork may delay your despatch date.

Account services

How much does it cost to call you?

0843 business numbers are classed as “low call rate” numbers. Calling an 0843 phone number costs 7p per minute. This is called a service charge. Your service provider may charge an additional access charge.

Please check with your service provider for the access charge as it varies from provider to provider.

I've not received my confirmation email

If you’ve placed an order but don’t receive a confirmation email, in the first instance, please check your junk folder (just in case).

If you still can’t find any emails from us, please contact us: [email protected] or call 0843 289 7944 and we’ll take a look.

There's a mistake, can I change my order?

Please, please, please double check your artwork and order details thoroughly before you complete your order. You won’t be able to make any changes once the artwork has been submitted as we will already be processing your order. 

We cannot be held respomsible for any mistakes on artwork supplied to us.

Can I cancel my order?

Once you have completed your order and check out, we’ll begin to process your order. As we’re manufacturing a bespoke product it’s not possible to cancel your order. 

Do you store any information about me?

Yes, in order to process your order we store your name and contact details securely. You can view or change and information we hold on you by logging in to your account.

File Supply

Will my files be checked?

We check all artwork before it is sent through to production using our preflighting tool. We’ll get in touch if there are any issues with your artwork and may ask you to resupply your file. 

It’s important to stress that we are only checking the technical set up of your file. Our checks do not cover spelling or checking details on your artwork – you are responsible for checking the content before sendign your artwork to us. 

If your file passes our technical checks it will automatically be sent through to production and we will confirm a despatch date with you. 

How do I upload my artwork?

You will be prompted to upload your artwork file before adding your chosen product to your basket. 

Simply click on the ‘Choose file’ button on the product page and select the file you’d like to use. Your artwork will automatically be sent to us along with your order details. 

If you experience any problems uploading your artwork, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Payment and Delivery

I'm not in the UK, can I plan an order?

Unfortunately not, we are not currently able to trade outside of Mainland UK.

Where do you deliver?

We offer dellivery to mainland UK addresses, including England, Scotland and Wales.

Unfortunately, we’re not able to deliver off the mainland, including Northern Ireland or anywhere outside of the UK. We do offer a customer collection option from our Manchester printing Hub. Please get in touch to discuss futher.

How will my order be packaged?

Our deckchairs are securely wrapped in bubble wrap and arrive in unbranded cardboard boxes.

Orders of more than 2 standard sized deckchairs are bulk packed. 

Can I change my delivery address?

Should you need to, it is possible to change the delivery address on an order up to the point of an order being despatched. Once your order has been complete it is too late to change the delivery details.

Is my payment secure?

All online payments are made via our secure payment gateway, Stripe.

Stripe is a leading online payment provider.

Please note that Stripe does not divulge your credit card information to anyone, including brandeddeckchairs.co.uk, so you can rest assured that your billing details are safe.

How will my deckchair or replacement seat be delivered?

We currently use DHL and Tuffnells to deliver our parcels. The courier is subject to change at any time. 

We despatch all orders on a next working day* delivery service.

Giant Deckchairs are delivered with Tuffnells. Please note that this is a kerbside delivery only and Tuffnells expect the receiver to have the correct equipment to unload and unpack the order without assistance. If Tuffnells are required to get involved with unloading your order, additional charges may apply. 

Giant Deckchairs should not be delivered to residential addresses. 

*Next day delivery is not guaranteed and is subject to courer service at time of delivery. 

How much is delivery?

We offer free delivery on all orders to one UK Mainland address (England, Scotland and Wales).

Delivery is based on standard next working day delivery once your order has been despatched and collected by the courier. Deliveries can take place any time between 8am and 6pm. 

Please note: we cannot be held responsible for delivery delays or underperformance by couriers, their service is out of our control. If you need your deckchair for a specific date or event, we highly recommend you place your order in plenty of time to allow for any courier mishaps. 

Do you guarantee delivery dates?

It’s not possible for us to guarantee delivery dates or times. Once your order has been despatched from our print hub it is in the hands of the courier and subject to their service, which we have no control over. 

Please ensure you place your order in plenty of time if you need your deckchair for a specific date or event.
